The Mountain Top Inn & Resort was the fifth place we visited in Vermont, and after 15 minutes of our tour, my fiancé whispered to me "We can stop looking. I'm in!" The way I described the venue to people is that it's “fancy enough for your big-city out of town friends, but down home enough for your local people too!” A laid back elegance that I’ve not seen before. Even though we only live 45 minutes away, when we were at the Mountain Top, Jeff said “I feel like I’m at a mountain resort, hours and hours away from home!”
When we brought our ideas to the on-site coordinator and food and beverage manager (Chelsea & Leah), they embraced our thoughts and the chefs really ran with it. The tent was transformed into a vineyard atmosphere, and we had lounge furniture, mixed with traditional tables and it was fabulous. It encouraged mingling and interaction, not just a traditional “sit with the people at your table” event.
Jeff and I HIGHLY recommend the Mountain Top Inn for your wedding or other event- it could not have been more perfect! Our whole objective with our wedding weekend was that we wanted people to walk out of that tent and say "oh my goodness, that was the best wedding I have ever been to!" And they did. And they still are!

Even with a rainy week for celebrating we wouldn't have changed a thing about our Wedding Day. You and your team at Mountain Top made everything so blissful, relaxing and enjoyable. My parents have also commended all of you multiple times for your flexibility - we were all so impressed with how quickly and smoothly you all managed to change the ceremony last minute due to the weather! It was those little things that a year later we still remember and appreciate! We loved all of the wonderful vendors that made our day complete and would recommend them to anyone!! Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect Wedding ceremony & celebration!

The wedding went off beautifully. The weather even cooperated. I can't think of anything that could have gone better. The food was fantastic. We got many comments on the food and of course how beautiful a place for someone to get hitched up. Your staff was excellent and most accommodating. Every request was met with an "absolutely" or "I'll get that for you right now" kind of response.

You were an absolute pleasure to work with...our family and friends could not say enough. The consensus was that a weekend simply was not long enough to enjoy the Mountain Top Inn and all it had to offer. My five year old niece (the flower girl) has already made designs to marry there in twenty years. I cannot thank all of you enough for braving the cold and making our wedding so very special. Most of all you made it easy on me. I loved every part of my day , yes even the snow. Thank you is not enough. The inn's Staff was amazing. Food was incredible. If I had it to do all over again I would not change a thing. Rarely do you have an event that the venue delivers all promised and always with a smile and warmth. I was thrilled with my day and cannot stop talking about the inn. I cannot wait till my anniversary...we will be back. The Mountain Top is truly a magical and romantic place to have a wedding.

Tremendous thanks to the entire Inn staff for making our daughter’s wedding so special. The autumn setting was picturesque, the epicurean food was delicious, and the service was consistently gracious and attentive. Our guests are still raving about how much they enjoyed the entire weekend - the football game on the green, the Friday night barbeque, the ceremony in the lobby in front of a roaring fire, and the reception dinner and dancing in the beautiful white tent. You expertly coordinated our weekend festivities, attending to all the details including fulfilling our requests to serve a special punch at our cocktail hour...Because of all your efforts, we were all able to truly enjoy the celebration and the bride and groom had a wedding that exceeded their expectations!
